OUR MISSION
To provide the Scouting program in a safe, enriching environment; to promote fun, adventure, and learning; and to encourage personal development of character and integrity in our Scouts.
TROOP PROFILE
Boy Scout Troop 80 is an exciting and action oriented troop that fosters the patrol method originally developed by Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of the Boy Scouts. Through the patrol method, the boys run their own program, plan and execute their meetings and outings, and learn by their successes and failures. The troop draws most of its members from the west side of St. Charles, including Campton Hills, Wasco, Elburn, South Elgin and Lily Lake. Our sponsor is Bell-Graham PTO. The goal of Troop 80 is to make the learning of scout skills fun and use these as stepping stones in the development of responsibility, character, citizenship and leadership skills as well as physical fitness.
