Welcome to BSA Troop 80

To provide the Scouting program in a safe, enriching environment; to promote fun, adventure, and learning; and to encourage personal development of character and integrity in our Scouts.

Boy Scout Troop 80 is an exciting and action oriented troop that fosters the patrol method originally developed by Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of the Boy Scouts. Through the patrol method, the boys run their own program, plan and execute their meetings and outings, and learn by their successes and failures. The troop draws most of its members from the west side of St. Charles, including Campton Hills, Wasco, Elburn, South Elgin and Lily Lake. Our sponsor is Bell-Graham PTO. The goal of Troop 80 is to make the learning of scout skills fun and use these as stepping stones in the development of responsibility, character, citizenship and leadership skills as well as physical fitness.

T80 Directory

Posted by NSponsler on Apr 28 2021 - 5:41pm

Hi Scouts & families,

It has been a couple of years since we’ve done this, but we are putting together a directory of Scouts and their contact information to be shared within the Troop. This is COMPLETELY VOLUNTARY - please do not feel that you have to participate. This directory will purely be used for Scouts and families to contact each other and will not be used for soliciting, etc, nor will it be shared with the District or Council.

Sign up for Tesomas Summer Camp by April 10

Posted by NSponsler on Mar 24 2021 - 9:00pm

It has been a challenging year for many of us, but it’s already time to start thinking about Tesomas SUMMER CAMP!

Signups for summer camp at Camp Tesomas from July 25-31 are now open on the Troop 80 website...… you DO NOT sign up on the Tesomas web page. This is an amazing experience for Scouts and a great opportunity to make friends and complete merit badges. Camp Tesomas is located in Rhinelander, WI and it is absolutely gorgeous. Don't miss out!
